Now is the time to consider sponsoring Border Lakes Region 2 ‘s 2026 Competition.
Competition is a major and fun part of the barbershop world that helps keep us focused on raising the bar of performing excellence. We come together in a spirit of lighthearted contest, to see who's really got top form. We root for each other, cheer each other on, and once the medals have been handed out, we sing and party into the night!
Every year in the spring Border Lakes Region 2 brings ringing barbershop chords at our regional contest. Dozens of choruses and quartets come together to sing and compete. There are four judging categories, Music, Sound, Expression and Visual Communication, and the groups bring complete and entertaining packages.
2026’s Competition will be held April 30 – May 3 in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
As with everything else, the cost of holding a competition continues to rise. We need your help with raising funds and securing sponsors.
Our goal is to raise $6000 to offset some of our Competition Expenses.
Sponsors will be recognized on our website, in our Competition Program and on our Livestream during the Quartet and Chorus competitions.
Bronze Level - $150 – recognition on our website, on our Livestream during the Quartet and Chorus competitions and a mention in our competition program.
Silver Level - $350 – All of the benefits above PLUS a quartet page advertisement in our competition program
Gold Level - $500 – All of the benefits above PLUS a half page advertisement in our competition program
Platinum Level - $1000 – All of the benefits above PLUS a full page advertisement in our competition program
Deadline for sponsoring the 2026 Competition is April 1, 2026.
